Report form John Lamb. More photo’s to follow but the opening was vibrant! The range of real art quilts was terrific. I had not seen so many creative quilts in one room before.
The crowd were as interesting as the quilts with many handmade coats & jackets.
A large roll up meant that there was a buzz and a lot of ideas flowing between quilt artists from around Australia.
The Quilt Exhibition 2010, at the National Wool Museum is on from 10th Sept 2010 till the 30th Jan 2011.
I would suggest going to see it immediately as you will want to go and see it twice!
