‘Memories’ quilt in the first Irish International Quilt Show, 7th June, 2012 and I’ll be there too.

I’m very excited about going to Ireland to see the first Irish International Quilt Show from 7th to 10th June, 2012.  My ‘Memories’ quilt, crazy patchwork, is 197cm down and 194cm across.  It is all hand sewn using bits from my scrap bag and was completed in twelve months. I’ve wanted to visit Ireland for ever so long that it is a dream come true. This exhibition in Galway is designed as a Quilter’s Village on the banks of the River Corib. It sounds enchanting!  With so much to do and see I hope I can get time to visit the Chocolate Shop. I’ve booked my place at the Opening Reception and I hope to see a few Aussies there.
