As children, my brother and I spent many hours exploring the valleys and walks around Katoomba, on the Skyway and the scenic railway. I recently revisited the area again after many years absence. This is my response to the great experience of flying over the valley once again. I use textured fabrics to give the feeling of wanting to touch the world. Machine applique and hand quilted with crotchet thread and hand finished.
