‘Layers of the Rainforest’ accepted into International Year of Forests exhibition.

Layers of the rainforest art quilts have been accepted into the Forest Threads exhibition. ‘Memories’ selected finalist at The Campbelltown Arts Centre.

I am very excited to have been accepted into the Fisher’s Ghost Art Award.  My ‘memories’ are built from the remnants of  my sewing for family, friends and many years of sewing costumes for ballroom dancing and brides. More on Bicentenial Banners now showing in new Concourse Area.

The Willoughby Banners were commissioned as part of the 1988 Australian Bicentenary celebrations. The banners were designed and constructed by artist Malcolm King, textile artist Yvonne Line, and many volunteers. ‘Sydney Red Gum’

In the Bobbin Head National Park, north of Sydney Australia, there is a very old Sydney Red Gum growing on the edge of a sandstone cliff. The tree sheds its bark every year revealing wonderful shapes and colours. (1994)  162cm H x 135cm W.
